Clinical Supervision

A reflective space to review practice and continue growing professionally.

Clinical supervision is a space for mental health practitioners to reflect on their clinical work. It offers an opportunity to look more closely at how they are working, deepen their clinical thinking, and continue developing within an ethical framework.

Supervision is not only a place to discuss clinical cases or work through difficult situations. It can also help practitioners reflect on how they are showing up in their work, recognize factors that may be influencing the therapeutic process, and gain a clearer sense of their own professional development.

The supervision approach is relational, reflective, and collaborative. The aim is to create a space that feels safe enough for practitioners to look honestly at their work — including what is going well, where they feel uncertain, and what may need closer attention.

Depending on the practitioner’s needs and stage of practice, supervision may focus on clinical skills, ethical questions, the therapeutic relationship, professional identity, or the impact of the work on the practitioner themselves.

Supervision is not intended to provide one single “right” way of working. More importantly, it supports practitioners in developing the capacity to think clinically for themselves and make thoughtful, well-considered decisions in their work.
