I am a therapist based in Hanoi. I completed my Master’s degree in Psychology at Hood College in the United States before returning to Vietnam to build my practice.

Over the years, I have trained in approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). While techniques and frameworks can be helpful, I believe therapy is also shaped by the relationship, timing, and the space to explore oneself gradually and honestly.

Over time, I have found myself drawn more and more toward psychodynamic and depth-oriented work. I am interested not only in symptoms, but in the emotional patterns, histories, contradictions, and adaptations that shape a person’s inner world. Therapy with me is often less about solutions and more about staying with what feels difficult or confusing because I believe the rest will follow.

I believe silence has an important place in therapy. Not everything meaningful can be spoken immediately, and sometimes being able to stay with silence matters just as much as language. I believe meaningful change often happens slowly, through trust, honesty, and the experience of being deeply heard and seen.

My work is shaped by a multicultural perspective and a commitment to creating a safe enough space where clients can explore themselves with more openness and compassion. I enjoy long-term work and the kind of understanding that can emerge over time and through relationship. I appreciate my clients’ willingness to allow me to join their journey.

In addition to therapy, I also provide supervision for mental health professionals and enjoy supporting therapists in developing their own voice, presence, and way of being with clients.

“For me, therapy is not a place where the therapist gives the client answers. It is a conversation in which we can slow down together, understand more clearly what is happening, and listen to parts of ourselves that may still feel confusing or in conflict.”
